Service Overview

Our Drone-Based UTM, Close-Up Inspection, Manual UTM & NDT
Services provide comprehensive inspection solutions for vessels,
offshore structures, tanks, cargo holds, and other marine assets. We combine
drone technology, experienced inspection personnel, and non-destructive
testing techniques to assess the condition of structures and equipment
efficiently while minimizing operational disruption.

Drone-Based UTM (Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement) enables
inspection teams to access and visually assess difficult-to-reach areas
while supporting thickness measurement requirements where suitable. Drone
technology can assist with close-up visual inspection of elevated,
confined, or otherwise challenging areas, reducing the need for extensive
scaffolding or access arrangements where permitted and technically
appropriate.

Close-Up Inspection Services are carried out to identify
corrosion, deformation, cracks, coating deterioration, structural damage,
wastage, and other defects. Inspections can cover hull structures, decks,
bulkheads, frames, stiffeners, brackets, hatch covers, tanks, cargo holds,
and other accessible vessel structures.

Manual UTM Services are performed by qualified and
experienced technicians using ultrasonic thickness measurement equipment.
Measurements can be taken at designated locations to assess the remaining
thickness of steel structures and identify areas affected by corrosion or
material wastage.

Our inspection and NDT services include:

  • Drone-based visual inspection
  • Drone-assisted close-up inspection
  • Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM)
  • Manual ultrasonic thickness gauging
  • Close-up structural inspection
  • Hull and deck inspection
  • Cargo hold inspection
  • Tank and internal structure inspection
  • Hatch cover and hatch coaming inspection
  • Frames, stiffeners and bracket inspection
  • Corrosion and steel wastage assessment
  • Coating condition inspection
  • Visual Testing (VT)
  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
  • Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
  • Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)
  • Weld inspection and defect identification
  • Structural condition assessment
  • Inspection photography and video documentation
  • Detailed inspection reports and measurement records

  • Our inspection teams can coordinate with shipowners, ship managers,
technical superintendents, Masters, class representatives, and surveyors
to carry out inspections according to the vessel's requirements and
applicable inspection procedures. Where required, inspection findings,
thickness measurements, photographs, and videos can be compiled into
organized reports for technical review and maintenance planning.

By combining drone-based inspection, manual UTM, close-up
inspection, and NDT techniques, we provide flexible solutions for
identifying structural conditions and potential defects while helping
vessel operators plan repairs, maintenance, and further inspection
    requirements efficiently.
